Purpose:

The Landscaper is responsible for monitor property grounds to ensure a pleasant appearance and maintaining the appearance of walkways, lawns, fountains, planters, building exteriors, or other grounds features by cleaning, replacing or making repairs as needed.

Essential Function of Job:

• Clean & care for buildings, facilities, and exterior of property to ensure they are maintained in a safe and healthy manner.
• Check landscaping, mulch beds, lawn, for cigarette butts, trash, and debris; Sweep all walkways and ensure any trash, debris, cobwebs, etc. are removed from exterior areas of buildings.
• Notify management of any repairs needed (lighting, public areas, parking lot, etc.); Empty all exterior waste baskets and keep receptacles clean.
• Sweep walkways and parking lot as needed to ensure clean and safe areas.
• Use carpet cleaner, floor scrubber, power washer, and any other assigned equipment to safely clean interior floors, as well as the exterior building and walkways.
• Maintain trees and shrubs by trimming and pruning.
• Trim and edge grass in areas that mowers cannot reach. Maintain lawns by mowing, edging, raking leaves, and performing other lawn maintenance.
• Install, maintain, and operate irrigation systems. Remove and bag trash from all exterior trash cans.
• Respond to guest requests and questions and report guest issues and complaints in a hospitable manner to ensure guest satisfaction.

Qualifications:

High School Diploma or equivalent. Minimum of two (2) years landscaping experience a must.

Working Conditions / Physical Demands / Knowledge / Skills / Abilities (KSA’s):

Command of the English language both written and verbal. Well organized and detail-oriented with the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment. Self-starting personality with an even disposition. Always maintain a professional appearance and manner. Must be willing to “pitch-in” and help co-workers with their job duties and be a team player. Ability to work beyond standard hours when necessary, including evenings, weekends, and holidays, to accommodate the guests’ needs. Ability to comprehend and follow instructions from supervisor. Comply with quality assurance expectations and standards. Move, lift, carry, push, pull, and place objects weighing less than or equal to 10 pounds without assistance. Perform other reasonable job duties as requested by Supervisors. EDUCATION and EXPERIENCE High School Diploma or equivalent with at least one (1) year hospitality experience.
